A comprehensive contest tracking system that fetches upcoming and past coding contests from platforms like Codeforces, CodeChef, and LeetCode. It provides users with real-time updates, contest countdowns, and filtering options based on preferred platforms. Users can bookmark contests and even access contest solutions via a linked YouTube integration. Additionally, the system supports automated solution fetching and allows users to sign up for contest reminders via email or SMS, offering a seamless and interactive experience.

Bookmarker

A Bookmark Management tool to efficiently store, categorize, and track important links, addressing the inefficiencies of manually collecting and managing links in a virtual notepad. Each record in the tool includes a hyperlink for direct redirection, keywords for quick search and retrieval, and comments to provide context. Additionally, bookmarks are categorized with tags such as Visited, Not Visited, and Revisit, enabling easy tracking. The platform also features advanced filtering based on tags and keywords, allowing users to quickly locate relevant records. With full CRUD functionality, users can seamlessly add, update, and delete bookmarks, ensuring an organized and efficient link management system.

Optimized for performance and accessibility, the platform leverages Next.js features like server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) for enhanced load speeds. Dynamic content sections highlight various SciTech initiatives, fostering engagement and easy discoverability. The scalable backend, powered by NestJS, efficiently manages API requests, user interactions, and real-time updates while maintaining modular and component-driven architecture for long-term maintainability.

My approach

Planning & Strategy

The initial step of solving any problem statement is to map out the functionalities and the pipeline to achieve them. In the context of the initial step, I always firstly plan out the entire solution and then move on to the development phase

Development & Progress Update

Once the planning is done, I initiate the setup for the development mode and dive into building the solution. From initial sketches to polished code, I track the entire progress using task lists and central repository systems.

Deployment and Launch

Its the time when the solution is ready to be deployed and launched. I make sure that the users are able to use the solution and solve the problems using the products which I build.
